yes yes.. it’s true im on a diet once more.. ha ha ha *a very cynical ha ha ha*

whatever, i love diets.. i feel prettier when im hungrier (strange? indeed)

HOWEVER.. eventhough i can get my hands off real 3dimensional foods, i can’t get enough of those virtual 2d’s ones…

ahh… i’ve been google-ing food images since an hour ago.. (strange? indeed)

i first started with "ramen" as my keyword.. delicious delicious spicy warm soup ramen.. so far i’ve collected 5 pictures of them.. all looking so tempting and scrumptious and mouth-watering and whatever adjectives used to describe tasty foods.. ahhh…

then i started searching for "steamed buns" … pao pao paoo.. hihihi.. i love ba’paoo.. they make me look like one xP

then… a couple of minutes later.. i get bored with steamed buns pictures.. not so real and delicious to me.. they all look white and steamed-y.. so, i typed "Xiao Long Bao" instead..

Now thats mouthwatering! some people post xiao long bao pictures real close and real descriptive and real imaginative.. yuuummmyyy !!

(oh my god im like teenage boys looking for porn images… the only difference is im staring at food instead of girls with big boobbies)

Ok, back to my sweet sweet xiao long bao… i got to this site where the pictures display a bamboo steamer thingy with a dozen xiao long baos in it, plus they show how to eat those baos.. so i got a picture of a bao half cut and the soup is pouring out and the meat inside is looking so so sooo divine… HEAVEN!

Anyway, i got to know some stuffs about shanghai food looking at these sites (you know, since xiao long baos are shanghainese delicacies).. Do you know there’s such a food called "Smelly Tofu"? Im sure the chinese name of the food is not "Smelly". Or is it? HELLO?? How do you expect ppl to eat something ‘Smelly’ ? I won’t. Well, unless it tastes REAL good, and the smell wont matter. And there’s "Hairy Crab" too.

‘Hairy’ and ‘Crab’ doesn’t spell out delicious to me…

Anyway.. Got bored with ramen, steamed buns, steamed dumplings (that’s what xiao long bao is).. So i searched for some soup. Preferably spicy hot red ones..

So, yes i typed "Spicy Hot Red Soup" in google search box

Then came out a picture of "Spicy Red Lentil Soup"… What’s a "Lentil"? It rhymes with an indonesian word for private woman areas, so, my impression of the word "lentil" is not very good.. Can somebody tell me what that is?

I also got "Spicy Red Bean Soup", "Spicy Curry Soup", and also these "Thick Spicy Creamy Soup" which looks like Tongseng.. Anybody knows Tongseng? Thats an Indonesian food, never tried it before, but heard it tastes good especially when ure damn hungry after a difficult math class..

Enough of soups! Im now looking for "Risotto"… Be patient people.. the page is loading.. wait wait wait wait.. wait…. wait…. waitt..

ahhh.. RiSOTTO…. Actually, they look like Fried Rice to me. You know, Nasi Goreng.. Nasgor.. Still, delicious. There’s this picture of a creamy Risotto with daun bawang (eee.. whats daun bawang in English?)… Em.. Makes me think of baby food, and somehow, risotto doesnt look so good to eat anymore.. Maybe i’ll search for Nasi Goreng instead..

I just got a site which displays PICTURES OF FOODS !! There’s ba’cang.. Anybody knows ba’cang? Anyway, it tastes good. And there’s dumplings of all kinds and sizes.. Seafood dumplings, vegetable dumplings, owow they got Xiao Long Bao too! And there’s Beijing Roasted Duck in Soup, also Beijing Roasted Duck Sandwich.. Not the kind of sandwich of white loaves of wheat bread. Well, it’s chinese style.. HOw to describe ya.. maybe i can put some pictures. Too bad i dont know how,, maybe i will later ;P OooOo there’s a display of some Dim Sum menus… I WANT DIMSUM !!! Aaaa mama havent took me eat dimsum for soo longgg…!! Oh wow they got this picture of Tonkatsu Ramen, and the picture is very very very veryyy close-up! You really want to eat it when its photographed that close….

I dont think so, im now sleepier than i am hungry.. hihi xD

Should sleep now.. I’ll do this again tommorow. Always nice to look at pictures that resembles the real thing when u got aint nuthin of the real thing…
